Overview
Through two sessions complemented by online learning modules, you will acquire the skills to navigate the complexities of cancer survivorship care. This curriculum features sessions led not only by faculty lecturers but also by patients, providing a unique and invaluable perspective on the experiences and challenges in the journey of cancer survivorship.

Session 1 (Virtual):
January 31, 2024
This virtual session provides an introduction to cancer survivorship care, focusing on cancer surveillance and managing long-term effects of cancer and its treatment.

Session 2 (In-Person):

March 14, 2024
This in-person session, led by a cancer survivor, offers a unique "patient as teacher" approach, providing direct insights into survivorship. Accompanied by a faculty-led discussion, it allows for questions and enhances learning. The session includes an evaluation to gather feedback for future improvements.

Online Modules:
Embark on an advanced learning journey in cancer survivorship care through a collaboration between the Rehabilitation and Survivorship Program at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Michener Institute. We offer individuals free access to online modules, designed to deepen understanding of cancer survivorship care. These waived-fee modules are a vital resource post-first session, providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and user-friendly education. Individuals are encouraged to complete these modules between January 31 and March 14 for an in-depth exploration of these valuable materials.

Clinical Selectives/Electives:

The curriculum strategically incorporates clinical Selectives to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
